Hooray for Manny!

Still feeling the aftershock of the Feb 29 Transport Strike and May 1 (chest pains, nose bleed and fever), I managed to struggle out of my bed to look for a place to watch the boxing match of Pacman and Hatton. I was in luck because my favorite karinderya's owner is an avid fan pala of Manny and is already watching the undercard fight.

Husay talaga. Pacman knocked down the Hitman twice in the first round and won via TKO in the 2nd round conquering the crown of the light welterweight division.

Kapansin-pansin lang sa screening ng GMA 7 na tadtad ito ng mga advertisements and most of these are propaganda materials of the government. Ginawa na talagang poster boy ng Arroyo administration si Pacman. Malacanang's scriptwriters and directors did a good job in maximizing Pacman's fame to further the rotten government's campaign of spreading lies across the country. The palace bought expensive airtime using people's money to brag about its programs, developments, plans and political and economic stability... Gloria Arroyo and her cronies are having hallucinations and they want us to come and live in their make-believe world.

I think its better for Manny to stay inside the ring as the Pambansang Kamao and sever all the strings that makes him the Pambansang Mascot of Gloria Arroyo.
